Go Low

In Go Low, the goal is simple: have the lowest score at the end of each round. Each player begins with four face-down cards and secretly looks at two of them. From there, players must rely on memory as they draw cards, discard unwanted values, and replace cards in their hand. The catch is that most of your cards remain hidden, so you need to remember what you have while trying to work out whether your opponents are holding better or worse cards.

On your turn, draw either the top card from the draw pile or the discard pile, then decide whether to keep it or use it to replace one of your face-down cards. As you improve your hand, you can choose to call “Go Low” when you think you have the lowest score. Everyone else gets one final turn before the cards are revealed and scores are calculated. The game is all about knowing when to take a risk, when to trust your memory, and when to end the round before someone else gets the chance to improve their hand.

With five rounds played in total, every point matters. A few high-value cards can quickly turn a seemingly good hand into a losing one, while a well-timed “Go Low” can catch opponents before they are ready. Easy to learn but full of small decisions, Go Low is a great choice for players who enjoy quick card games with memory and push-your-luck elements.
