Happy Little Dinosaurs – Hazards Ahead

The dinosaurs already have enough to worry about, but Hazards Ahead adds even more trouble to their Escape Routes! Designed as an expansion for Happy Little Dinosaurs, this set introduces new gameplay elements that create additional obstacles and unexpected effects throughout the game. Players can encounter Hazard tokens placed along their Escape Routes, forcing them to deal with additional problems as they progress.

When a dinosaur reaches a Hazard token, the player must draw a Hazard Card, which can introduce an ongoing disadvantage or other troublesome effect. These hazards can make it more difficult to survive and may remain in play until the player finds a way to deal with them. This gives players another factor to consider when planning their route and deciding how to respond to disasters.

The expansion also introduces Lucky Day Cards, giving players new opportunities to avoid bad luck and turn an unfortunate situation around. Alongside the new dinosaur characters and hazards, these cards add more variety and interaction to the base game, making every escape route more unpredictable. Happy Little Dinosaurs is required to play.
