Happy Mochi

In Happy Mochi, the goal is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand. The catch is that you cannot rearrange your hand, so the order in which your cards are dealt becomes an important part of the game. On your turn, you can play two cards that are next to each other, provided they meet the current value or colour requirements.

This creates an interesting puzzle every time you look at your hand. You may have the perfect pair available, but it might be separated by other cards that you cannot move. Special cards and colour restrictions add more tactical possibilities, allowing you to change the situation or make it harder for your opponents to play. The standout move is the Happy Mochi: a pair of cards with the same number that can be played regardless of the usual restrictions.

Players need to think ahead, manage the fixed order of their cards, and watch for opportunities to clear several cards at once.
