Katamino Family

Katamino Family is a puzzle and pattern-building game designed for both solo play and head-to-head challenges. Players use colourful wooden pieces made up of different shapes to fill a designated area of the game board, with challenges ranging from simple puzzles for younger players to increasingly difficult configurations for more experienced puzzlers.

In the competitive mode, two players sit opposite each other and choose a difficulty level. A challenge card indicates which pieces each player must use, and both players race to fit their pieces perfectly into their side of the board. The first player to complete their configuration wins the challenge. As the difficulty increases, players need to visualise shapes, rotate pieces, and experiment with different arrangements to find a solution.

For solo play, Katamino Family includes a wide range of challenges and possible combinations, allowing players to work through different difficulty levels at their own pace. With multiple ways to play and progressively harder puzzles, it can grow with the player and provide a fun introduction to spatial reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving.
