Kingdomino is a celebrated family strategy game, that combines simplicity with strategy. As a lord in this top-selling game, your objective is to extend your kingdom by acquiring new territories. Survey various landscapes such as wheat fields, lakes, and mountains to identify prime plots. However, be wary of rival lords vying for the same territories. Can you secure them before they do?
The game uses tiles resembling Dominoes, each featuring two sections. During each turn, players choose a new tile to add to their kingdom, ensuring that one of its sides aligns with a matching terrain type already on the board. The order of who picks first depends on which tile was previously chosen, with better tiles forcing players to pick later in the next round. The game ends when each player has completed a 5×5 grid (or failed to do so), and points are tallied based on the number of connected tiles and the presence of valuable crown symbols on them.
