In Linko, players compete to get rid of the cards in their hands while collecting as many positive points as possible. On your turn, play one or more cards of the same number, with jokers allowing you to strengthen your combinations. The more cards you play together, the more opportunities you have to capture cards from your opponents.
The twist comes when another player has played the same number of cards as you but with a lower value. You can capture those cards and add them to your hand, giving you additional cards that may help you later—but they can also become a liability if you fail to play them before the game ends. This creates an interesting balance between aggressively taking cards and keeping your own hand under control.
The game ends when one player successfully plays all their cards. Cards successfully played are worth positive points, while cards remaining in your hand count against you. With simple rules but plenty of tactical decisions, Linko rewards players who can judge when to play aggressively, when to steal, and when to avoid taking on too many cards.
