Mermaid Island

In Mermaid Island, players work together as a team to help three mermaids reach the safety of Mermaid Island. The mermaids must travel across the board while avoiding the Sea Witch, who is constantly moving closer to catching them.

Players take turns rolling the die and moving the mermaids around the board. Different spaces and cards can affect the mermaids’ progress, and players must cooperate to decide which mermaid should move and how to use their turns most effectively.

The game encourages young players to communicate, plan together, and make decisions as a group. Because everyone shares the same goal, there is no single winner—the whole team either successfully gets the mermaids to safety or loses together. Mermaid Island is therefore a gentle introduction to cooperative board games and strategic thinking for children.
