Moo’s Code is a playful listening and deduction game that puts players in the role of Carole the cow, a chef on a mission to complete her recipes. Each round, a player draws a recipe card to see which ingredient is missing, then taps a wooden spoon on the table to indicate the number of syllables in that ingredient. The catch? No talking, everyone else must carefully listen, observe the ingredient cards in play, and quickly work out which ingredient fits the clue.
Designed by renowned children’s game designer Anja Wrede, Moo’s Code combines laughter with learning. The game helps develop memory, concentration, sequencing, and pattern recognition skills, while naturally introducing the concept of syllables through play, making it suitable for both English and Chinese language learning. With rule variants for younger players and a lively pace that rewards sharp ears and fast reactions, the first player to collect five recipe cards wins and becomes the top chef in the barn! 🐄🥄
