A murder has taken place, but the killer is still among the group. In Deception: Murder in Hong Kong, one player secretly takes on the role of the murderer, while another becomes the forensic scientist who knows the truth but cannot directly explain what happened.
The remaining players are investigators who must examine the evidence and discuss what they believe happened. The murderer secretly chooses the weapon and key piece of evidence used in the crime, while the forensic scientist provides limited clues to guide the investigation. Players must interpret the clues, question one another, and identify the killer before the murderer manages to escape suspicion.
