Kingdomino – Age of Giants

Kingdomino: Age of Giants is an expansion for Kingdomino and Queendomino that introduces giant meeples, new dominoes, challenge tiles, and the ability to add a fifth player. As you continue expanding your kingdom, you will now need to contend with giants who can cover the crowns in your territories and reduce the points you earn from them.

New dominoes featuring giants and giant footprints are shuffled into the regular tile supply. When you add a domino with a giant to your kingdom, you must place a Giant meeple on one of your crowns, covering it so that it no longer scores. However, dominoes showing giant footprints allow you to remove a giant from your own kingdom and send it to an opponent, forcing them to cover one of their crowns instead.

The expansion also replaces the traditional end-game bonus system with Challenge Tiles. At the beginning of the game, two challenges are selected, giving players additional scoring objectives to work towards. These can encourage different kingdom-building strategies, such as surrounding your castle with lakes or placing your castle in a particular position. Age of Giants adds another layer of competition and planning to Kingdomino while also allowing a fifth player to join the game. It requires Kingdomino or Queendomino to play.
