Museum Suspects

In Museum Suspects, players become competing detectives trying to uncover the thief, or thieves, hidden among 16 colourful suspects before the investigation ends. You’ll need sharp deduction, careful note-taking and a little bluffing to crack the case and outsmart your fellow investigators.

The 16 suspects are arranged in a grid, surrounded by eight hidden Clue cards. On your turn, choose a clue to investigate. Each clue eliminates certain suspects based on features such as what they are wearing, carrying or where they are positioned in the museum. Record what you discover secretly in your notebook and gradually piece together who could still be guilty.

But information comes at a price! After investigating, place one of your numbered Investigation tokens face down on the clue. Once another detective has investigated that clue, you’ll need to spend a token of equal or greater value to see it yourself. You must then place another Investigation token on the suspect you believe could be guilty or on the Emergency Exit if you think the thief has already escaped. Because the values of your tokens remain hidden, you can bluff, misdirect your opponents and make them wonder just how confident you really are.

After six rounds, all eight clues are revealed and the innocent suspects are eliminated. There may be one thief, several thieves — or no suspect left at all, meaning the culprit escaped! Players score according to the Investigation tokens they placed on the correct culprit or culprits, and the detective with the strongest successful bet wins.

With changing suspects and clues creating a fresh case every time, Museum Suspects is an engaging mix of logical deduction, calculated risks and sneaky bluffing that keeps everyone guessing until the final reveal.
